Speak Up! Presenting at Conferences for the First Time

Speak Up! Presenting at Conferences for the First Time

ALIA’s New Librarians’ Symposiums are exciting forums for professionals at all stages of their career to flex their presenting skills. Hear from the NLS8 Team about how to submit a proposal for NLS8 in Canberra next year, and join us for a panel discussion with local librarians who have taken the plunge and presented at conferences in the past.  Ask them your questions, pick up some tips, and gather your courage!  This event will be particularly useful for anyone who wants to start speaking at conferences and other professional events, or anyone who would like to brush up on their presentation skills.

ALIA Sydney and NLS8 joint event
Held at CQU, 400 Kent St, Sydney (very close to Town Hall station)
6.15pm for a 6.30pm start (until approx 8pm), Tuesday 9th August.
